Tyler is a Resident Physiotherapist who graduated from McGill University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this he completed his Bachelor degree in Kinesiology at Western University in 2017. While attending Western University Tyler had the opportunity to work as an athletic trainer with the Men’s Varsity Rugby team providing on-field care and rehabilitation for university athletes.
Tyler first became interested in physiotherapy when recovering from various injuries while playing rugby. These experiences have allowed Tyler to see the process of recovery from a patient and therapist viewpoint. Tyler highly values patient education and emphasizes communication in order to empower clients to take control of their health and wellness. Tyler provides a combination of techniques including soft tissue skills, exercise prescription, and manual therapy to help clients reach their goals and become healthier and happier.
In his spare time Tyler enjoys keeping active and moving on a daily basis by lifting weights at the gym, or enjoying the weather running and cycling outside. Tyler enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, golfing in the summer, and going snowboarding in the winter.
