Janet is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from Queen’s University. She obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2016 after graduating with Honours from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. Her treatment philosophy revolves around delivering evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. She strives to educate her patients in order for them to play an active role and to become fully engaged in their rehabilitation.
Janet has developed a keen interest in manual therapy and individualized exercise prescription. She has further advanced her education by completing and passing her Level 1 and Level II Lower Manual Therapy Exam, soft tissue release course, and APTEI introduction to acupuncture and dry needling. She is also a certified K-taping therapist. After completing the mechanical diagnosis and therapy course for the low back from the Robin McKenzie Institute Canada, Janet also incorporated the McKenzie method to treat acute and chronic low back pain. She believes in lifelong learning, and plans to continue advance in acupuncture and McKenzie.
In her spare time, Janet enjoys going to the gym, doing yoga and socializing with friends. She is currently on a quest to become the best chef in her family
